As the distillery's first-ever Bottled-in-Bond release, it represents a historic marker as the oldest whiskey with this designation ever produced in the state. Distilled during a single production season in 2015, this whiskey was matured in level-3 charred new American white oak barrels within a federally bonded warehouse in Denver, then cut to proof using pristine Rocky Mountain water. The decade-plus aging process beautifully marries the rich, structured wood complexities typically found in mature bourbon with the clean, grain-forward elegance of a 100% malted barley mash bill.
