Found North Batch 012 is a highly acclaimed, 16-year-old cask strength Canadian whisky. This limited-edition release is a complex blend of 11 different corn and rye components aged between 16 and 22 years, featuring a mashbill of 86% corn, 13% rye, and 1% malted barley. While previous batches highlighted the brand's blending artistry, Batch 012 showcases their specialized new-wood maturation program. The liquid is anchored by a 2009 corn component double-oaked for 11 months in heavy toast, char #2 new American oak barrels, combined with ultra-aged components finished in toasted French oak. The result is a non-chill filtered, natural color whisky with incredible viscosity and a deep, decadent flavor profile.
