Seven Seals Single Malt Whisky - Amarone Wood Finish Whiskey in the Park

Switzerland's Seven Seals distillery finishes its single malt in casks that once held Amarone, the bold dried-grape red wine of Italy's Valpolicella, lending extra color and a distinctly winey depth. The nose opens with sweet apple and dried berries woven with vanilla, cinnamon, toffee, and orange zest, while the palate turns to caramel, rich mocha, wild berries, and pears poached in red wine with a touch of spiced ginger cookie. The finish is smooth and medium-length, gently bitter with coffee and warming white pepper.
