Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 2 Whiskey in the Park

Lochlea Cask Strength Batch 2 is a limited-edition Lowland single malt from Lochlea Distillery in Ayrshire, Scotland, sited on the working farm once tended by poet Robert Burns. Bottled straight from the cask, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring, Batch 2 marries ex-Pedro Ximenez and ex-Oloroso sherry butts with STR ex-red-wine barriques. It opens with apple, peach and marmalade before floral notes of wild lavender and rose petals give way to a bigger, bolder finish of black pepper and European oak spice.
