Bushmills 16 Year Old is a triple-distilled single malt Irish whiskey from County Antrim, Northern Ireland, matured for at least sixteen years through a distinctive three-wood process. The spirit rests in hand-selected Oloroso sherry butts and ex-bourbon barrels before a final finishing period in port pipes, which lends it a deep ruby hue. The result is layered with sun-ripened dark fruit and berries, complex almond nuttiness, and a treacly vanilla spice.
